Temporary mission for 6 months (might be extended in January 2026).

Your role:

We are looking for a passionate a Senior Engineer for our team to work on exciting global topics projects. In this role you will:

• Gain valuable insights into critical business processes while engaging directly with our large customer base.
• Lead and own the entire development process, from designing and implementing user-friendly UIs to developing robust back-end functionalities and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP products.
• Guide/ lead architecture decisions in your team based on industry standards and best practices, lead adherence to architectural principles, SAP product-specific guidelines, and product standards
• Show initiative and drive topics to resolution to a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency.
• Verifying that the delivered product meets the functional and design requirements and sign off on delivery.
• Investigate, analyze complex problems; and resolve critical issues
• Play a crucial role in pioneering the integration of modern AI capabilities, actively shaping the infusion of Generative AI features right from the beginning. This is a rare opportunity to make a significant impact and be part of a groundbreaking journey.

Your profile:

If you are self-driven and flexible, you are a perfect fit for our team. Further role requirements are:

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience
• Degree in Engineering / Computer science or equivalent subject
• Proficiency in software design principles and object-oriented design
• Strong programming background and excellent technical skills in TypeScript (Node.js) / Java
• Experience in designing and developing scalable services utilizing micro-service architecture
• Experience of building cloud-based applications with knowledge of cloud platforms (like AWS/Azure) and containcers (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Strong in algorithms, data structures and database design concepts
• DevOps mindset inherent sense of ownership through the development, deployment and operations lifecycle of the product
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Team player and ability to work successfully in culturally diverse environments.
• Good English language skills (written and verbal)
